What is recorded here

Marked on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a rectangular enclosure (ext. dims c. 45m NW-SE; c. 45m NE-SW), and visible as a rectangular cropmark defined by a fosse feature on aerial photographs (OSAP: 4, 3263-4). Situated on a gentle SE-facing slope. Rectangular grass-covered area (dims c. 33m WNW-ESE; c. 29m NNE-SSW) defined by a slight scarp (H 0.25-0.35m) which is truncated by a NE-SW field bank/townland boundary with Acres townland at SE.
