Indicated

On a gentle S-facing slope of rough grazing and outcropping rock from which numerous small spring wells emerge. Hachured as a small mound on the 1842 and 1915 eds. of the OS 6-inch maps. Listed as ‘Earthwork’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). An oval mound of burnt stone (overall dims. 13.3m N–S x 9.2m E–W) defined by a low, narrow, round-topped grass-covered bank of burnt stone enclosing a small central trough area (E–W 2.4m x N–S 1.4m). Springs emerge from the ground immediately outside to the NW and from the base of low outcropping rock nearby to N. A telephone pole stands in the outer face of the bank to the SW. Another fulacht fia (CL003-028001-) is located c. 60m to the S and two burnt mounds (CL003-028003- and CL003-028004-) are c. 50m SW.
