Terraced three-bay three-storey former house, built c. 1830, now in use as hotel. Pitched natural slate roof with nap rendered chimneystack and polygonal clayware chimneystack pots. Painted lined-and-ruled nap rendered walls with projecting metal bracket having sign, and with cast render medallion to ground floor. Replacement timber sliding sash windows with painted stone sills and moulded render surrounds. Timber panelled double leaf doors flanked by fixed glazing surrounded by pilaster and entablature shopfront. Limestone steps up to front door with cast-iron railings.
