A simple ice house, built c. 1820 for nearby Belcamp Park, appearing first on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition (1837). Now disused, with its entrance blocked up, it is obscured by vegetation and unmarked within a public park. However, it remains an important contextual feature in the landscape, representative of its history and domestic arrangements of the Demesne of Belcamp House.
