Ian Paisley was born in Armagh, County Armagh, Ireland on 6 April 1926. He became First Minister of Northern Ireland from 8 May 2007 to 5 June 2008, serving with Martin McGuinness. He died in Belfast on 12 September 2014 at aged 88.
