What is recorded here

Formerly semi-detached three-bay two-storey house, c.1820, now terraced and in use as an Insurance and Financial Services office. Roughcast rendered walls with a smooth rendered base course. Replacement uPVC windows to first floor and replacement timber casement windows to ground floor, all with patent reveals. Altered doorway with timber door. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimney stack to each end. Stone steps leading down to a concrete wall to street front.
A handsome, balanced Georgian house of a type once common in towns and large villages, often now considerably altered. Though partially altered, it nevertheless retains its original feel and, with its more intact neighbour, forms a strong group which enhances the streetscape.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
