What is recorded here
End- of-terrace two-bay two-storey house, c.1860, now also used as a shop. Full-width flat-roofed shop extension to front, two-storey extension to rere. Smooth rendered front wall, roughcast to side. Painted brick surrounds to first floor windows. Timber sash windows to front, uPVC casement windows to gable and rere extension. Plate glass shop window with roller shutter. Pitched slate roof with brick chimney stack. Open forecourt to street.
Though much altered, this house retains some features of note, and remains an important constituent of Sarsfield Terrace, which mirrors the curve and slope of the main street and provides visual interest opposite the wall of Lucan demesne.
