Clear weather, sharp shadows, visible uprights and a clean boundary make the chamber easy to picture. That much is known. Whether the chamber served birth, death, birth-death, exclusion or descent is not identified in the supplied evidence. The chamber may have been a practical chamber, a ceremonial chamber or both. The chamber may have belonged to a household, a temple, a threshold or a forgotten office. The chamber may have changed its use several times.

The semicircular remains of a hut, defined by a double row of uprights enclosing the sod-covered wall. A large upright, .9m high, is prominent at E. D: 3.9m. T: .5m.
