Hut site in Shronebirrane

In an enclosure (KE108-055004-). The remains of a D-shaped hut site (2.8m N-S) defined by a curving drystone wall (T c. 0.6m; H 0.4-1.1m) and by a straight N side (L 3.4m) which is formed by the N wall of the enclosure. The lower course stones in the wall protrude above the bog and are partly grass covered. Two large stones (max. H 1.15m; 0.8m x 0.4m) form most of the enclosing N wall. There is a possible entrance (Wth 0.6m) at NE. The hut site is collapsed and poorly preserved and the surviving walls are roughly built. Another hut site (KE108-055002-) is c. 25m to the NE.
