Enclosure in Shronebirrane

In rough hill pasture, on an E-facing slope of Tooth Mountain and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE108-055----). A roughly triangular area (5.2m E-W; 3.3m N-S) defined by a poorly preserved drystone wall (T c. 0.6m; H 0.6m) which is almost totally collapsed. The lower course consists of slabs and protrudes above the blanket bog. The interior slopes down to the E and is mostly strewn with rubble. A N-S stretch of a relict wall from the network of field walls lies to the W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
