What is recorded here
Located at the bottom of a SE-facing slope and c. 150m NE of Rossdroit church (WX025-011----). Excavation (04E0396) at Site 1 as part of the N30 re-alignment recorded a group of 12 stake-holes, 7 post-holes, two hearths and a pit in a concentration (diam. c. 5-6m) that was disturbed by the two ditches of a later field bank, but a hammer-stone was recovered.
