Five conjoined huts cluster beside a narrow stream on the SE slope of Leahan Mountain, their drystone walls still standing ninety centimetres thick in rushy pasture. The smallest chamber measures just 2.36 by 1.5 metres, barely large enough for one person to stretch out beside a fire. People likely built this tight settlement to share warmth against the Atlantic wind, pressing their lives into a narrow strip of dry ground while the sea and Slieve League watched from beyond the valley.

In poorly drained rushy covered mountain pasture, in small river valley, on the SE facing slope of Leahan Mountain with views of the sea to the S and Slieve League to the W. A rectangular-shaped hut site (int. dims. 2.36m x 1.5m; wall T 0.9m) of drystone construction built on the E side of a small stream with a cluster of 5 conjoined hut sites nearby and a single conjoined hut site (DG089-026015-) 10m to W. Located in an area of a dense concentration of hut sites which appear to make up a clustered settlement (DG089-026001/021).
