In rough hill pasture, on a S-sloping bog to the E of Coomnacronia Lake. The poorly preserved remains of an oval hut site (4m N-S; 1.4m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.8m; H 0.7m). Larger stones of the roughly constructed, lower courses protrude above the surface of the bog. There is an entrance (Wth 0.6m) at E. The interior is obscured by rubble. A second hut site (KE071-064----) lies c. 25m to the N and a third hut site (KE071-064002-) lies c. 6m to the S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
