Lecarrow is a narrow strip of land where a small stone hut still marks the edge of a supposed fort, clinging within four metres of steep northern cliffs. Four vertical stones at the northwest remain the clearest part of the circle, while the rest fade into cropped grass and a slightly dished floor. The sea would have sounded through the doorway all day, and any person sleeping there must have trusted the cliff more than a wall.

Situated within 4m of the steep N-facing cliffs on eastern coast of the island. A natural stone-filled gully lies immediately to S, and an old turf stack lies 7m to WSW. The hut site lies within the confines of a supposed promontory fort (MA075-009001-). It consists of an arc of small earthfast stones c. 14 in all, protruding (H 0.3m max.) through the closely cropped grass appears to define a roughly oval area (E–W 1.8m, N–S c. 2m) from W through N to SE. A sequence of four almost contiguous stones at NW are the most convincing because they appear to be set vertically.
