Two adjoining hut foundations survive inside a rath at Freahanes, suggesting a small domestic cluster rather than a single isolated shelter. The arrangement implies people shared walls, heat and daily routine within a defended or bounded landscape. Whatever they kept, cooked or argued about has vanished, but the joined shape of their homes still breaks the grass.
