Man-made underground passage in Cahermore

No visible trace remains above ground, yet local tradition holds that a man-made passage still breathes beneath the Cahermore ringfort. The absence of a hole or broken stone does not erase the shape; it only hides the path from casual feet. A person may have dug through solid earth to give the fortress a secret route, perhaps for escape, storage or entry when danger closed the front gate.
