What is recorded here

That is one of the smallest recorded rooms in Ireland. It fits inside a rath in County Kerry, and its stone edge still stands sixty centimetres above the ground. The chamber measures 4.2 metres by 1.5 metres, narrow enough for a lamp, a bench and little else. Anyone who sat there would have known the shape of the world before modern rooms forgot it.

The remains of a subrectangular hut are centrally located in the rath's interior. Its stony bank is .6m high, and its sunken interior measures 4.2m x 1.5m. The above description is derived from A.
