What is recorded here
Duagh holds a row of vanished huts, large enough to be remembered but gone enough to defy finding. They may have sheltered lovers, runners, or men avoiding marriage. The earth kept their shape long enough to warn that ownership and witness are not the same.
According to Cuppage (1986, 67, no. 200), 'about 100 yards (c. 90m)' to E [of burials KE036-048----, KE036-048002-] some fairly large hut sites were also noted but these could not be found on this occasion.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
