Cuchullin's Bed and Grave in Dromavally is not a heroic tomb but a cluster of rough sheep shelters, though local legend still credits the warrior with sleeping there. A circular stone foundation, three metres wide and a metre high, remains among the enclosures, perhaps marking a human dwelling rather than a mythic grave. The distinction between fact and fiction blurs on the Dingle Peninsula, where ordinary survival tools become canvas for extraordinary stories.

Cuchullin's Bed and Grave/Leaba agus Uaigh Chúchulainn: Though the features at this site have previously been interpreted as graves and cairns (OSM; Borlase 1897, 2; Killanin and Duignan 1962, 44), the present remains constitute a number of roughly-built enclosures and shelters, probably for sheep.
