Dromavally holds a circular stone foundation three metres wide, perhaps the remains of a small human hut rather than a grand grave. Sheep likely crowded the rough enclosures for centuries, wearing the edges smooth and pushing deeper into the earth. The chamber may have belonged to a herder, a watcher, or a child learning the shape of storms.

Cuchullin's Bed and Grave/Leaba agus Uaigh Chúchulainn: Though the features at this site have previously been interpreted as graves and cairns (OSM; Borlase 1897, 2; Killanin and Duignan 1962, 44), the present remains constitute a number of roughly-built enclosures and shelters, probably for sheep. Amongst these is a circular foundation, 3m in diameter and up to 1m high, which may have been a hut site. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
