What is recorded here
In rough heather and gorse-covered grazing on the lower W-facing slopes of Slievanore with views NW over Lough Acoose and within a field system (KE072-006001-). The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 2m) defined by the jumbled, lower courses of a stone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.3m), protruding above the surface of the bog. The level interior, partially obscured by gorse, is raised (H 0.15m) at W to compensate for the slope. (O'Sullivan and Sheehan 1996, 24, no. 37)
