What is recorded here
This is one of five hut sites (see KE072-006004-, KE072-006005-, KE072-006006-, KE072-006007-) described by O'Sullivan and Sheehan (1996, 24, no. 37). There were no visible remains of this hut site noted during a subsequent inspection of the area in 2006. Recent turf cutting was evident in the area. (O'Sullivan and Sheehan 1996, 24, no. 37)
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
