Hut site in Cummeengeera

In rough pasture, on a N-facing slope, on the E bank of the Drimminboy River and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE111-023----). The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 6m) defined by a partly grass-covered drystone wall (T 1.1m; H 0.55m at S) which is cut (D 0.2m) into the upslope at S. Stones of the lower courses protrude above the blanket bog. Upright stone slabs are set at irregular intervals along the wall SE-W.
