Hut site in Coomclogh

In rough hill grazing, on a terrace on the S-facing slopes of the Shehy Mountains and within an enclosure (CO092-075002-). The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 1.9m) defined by the jumbled lower course of a stone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.6m) which protrudes above the surface of the bog. The hut site abuts the inner face of the enclosure at the WNW and another hut site (CO092-075004-) at the S. The hut site lies within a network of relict field boundaries (CO092-075001-).
