The oval hut site in Coolnagoppoge, County Kerry, holds a narrow collapsed entrance on a west-facing slope above the Sheen River valley. Its drystone wall still stands eighty centimetres high beside an earth bank, while two other hut sites and a rath scatter nearby across the rough pasture. The cluster suggests a small hillside settlement rather than a lone shelter, though no named person or dated event survives in the facts provided.

In rough hill pasture, on a W-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Sheen River. The remains of an oval hut site (2.6m NE-SW; 1.9m NW-SE) defined by a partially grass-covered, drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.8m). The NW linear side abuts a bank of earth and stone. There is a collapsed entrance (Wth 0.5m) at NW. Two other hut sites (KE102-011004-, KE102-011003-) are c. 5m and c. 30m to the SW, respectively. There is a rath (KE102-011----) c. 50m to the W.
