Hut site in Commons West (bear By.)

In rough hill pasture, on a N-S terrace on the W-facing stony slopes of Miskish Mountain and within a network of relict field boundaries (CO114-084011-). The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 3.1m) defined by a bank (Wth 0.75m; H 0.3m) of earth and stone. The level interior, which is in pasture, is raised (H 0.3m) at the W and cut (D 0.25m) into the upslope at the E to compensate for the hillslope.
