Conjoined circular hut platforms cling to the north side of the Carlingford ringfort, suggesting a crowded domestic cluster rather than a solitary residence. People may have shared walls, heat and arguments inside those tight curves while the wider fortress watched from below. The arrangement implies partnership or desperation, forcing neighbours into constant contact during storms or festivals.
