Hut site in Cloontreem

In rough pasture, on a rocky terrace on the lower SE-facing slopes of Eagle Hill. The remains of a D-shaped hut site (1.7m N-S) defined by the partially bog-covered lower courses of a curving drystone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.6m) with a straight N side (L 2.8m) which comprises the linear face of a large boulder at the N. The drystone wall consists mainly of leaning stone slabs which are set at right angles to the line of the wall. The interior is obscured by rushes. Another hut site (CO115-149002-) is 5m to the S.
