One of a number of hut sites in a cluster on a steep S-facing slope below the stone rampart of the hillfort on Brusselstown Hill (WI027-018----), within the larger Spinans Hill hillfort complex (WI027-078001- / WI021-080001-). An oval hut site (diam. 5m N-S; 7.2m ESE-WNW) on a slight terrace, well defined at SW by a boulder bank (Wth 0.7-1m). At SW the bank is the same height as the outer ground level with a drop to the interior. The interior is flat and slopes slightly to the NE. (Grogan No. 9, SMR file) Another hut site (WI027-019013-) is conjoined to S.
