What is recorded here

Within the SE sector of an enclosure (KE108-054----). The remains of an oval hut site (6.3m NW-SE; 4m NE-SW) defined by a drystone wall (T c. 0.7m; H 0.1-0.75m). Large stones in the lower courses of the wall protrude above bog and are partly grass covered. A substantial quantity of rubble from the collapsed upper courses lies within the interior. The W portion of the interior is cut (D 0.4m) into the upslope and the E portion is built up (H 0.35m) externally. The E wall is abutted externally by a hut site (KE108-054002-). There is another hut site (KE108-054004-) 8m to the NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
