What is recorded here

In rocky pasture, built against a rock outcrop at the edge of a slope. The remains of an oval hut (int. diam. 8m x 5.9m), the walls (T 1.5m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 0.3m) of which are constructed of stone slabs set on their sides. The N arc is defined by rock outcrop. A Man-made underground passage (SL041-023----) lies c. 65m to SW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
