Sub-circular rath KE044-062---- is located on the E slopes of a low hill (611 feet/186m) that overlooks the Anascaul valley to W. An earth and stone mound, located in the SW part of the interior, contains 2 depressions which may represent hut-sites (KE044-062001- & KE044-062002-). The mound is c. 1.5m high and the depressions measure 6m x 4m x .75m deep and 2m in diameter x .75m deep. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
