Situated on the summit of a gentle slope of a very low rise in wet, marshy, grassland just beside the estuary of the Finne River and Ballysadare Bay. It is sub-rectangular in plan (L 6.8m WNW/ESE;Wth 3.8m NNE/SSW). It is defined by an earthen bank (Wth 1.5m-2.5m; H 0.45m).
