'This is the remains of a very denuded circular drystone hut, formed of large limestone flags. It measures 1.8m east-west by 2.1m north-south internally, the 1m thick walls being 0.9m in maximum height. A possible 0.8m wide entrance opens to the east.' The above description was published in F. Coyne, 'Islands in the clouds: an upland archaeological study on Mount Brandon and the Paps, Co. Kerry.' (Kerry Co. Council in association with Aegis Archaeology, 2006).
