Death and memory have turned the hard facts into a living chamber. The result is a visible monument rather than a forgotten date.

Univallate rath KE044-046---- is located at the head of a small valley, on a SE facing slope which overlooks Ballynasare. The centre of the enclosure is occupied by the remains of a circular structure (KE044-046001-), 9m in diameter. Its ruined wall is c. 1 to 1.5m wide and less than .5m high.
