A circular stone spread, barely wider than a person stretched out, marks a hut site on the exposed karst plateau of Aghamore. The flat, sloping ground holds two such shelters and a wedge tomb within a hundred metres, suggesting a small community lived and buried its dead beside the bare rock. The stones still define the shape of rooms no longer roofed, waiting for imagination to complete what time has stripped away.

Situated on an area of exposed karst (dims c. 200m N-S; c. 130m E-W) that is fairly flat and is on a broad plateau which slopes down generally to the SE. This is a circular area (int. diam. 5.3m N-S; 3.4m E-W) defined by a stone spread (Wth 1-1.5m). Hut-site (LE006-030011-) is c. 10m to the NW and the wedge tomb (LE006-033----) is c. 100m to the SW.
