Hut site in Aghamore (rosclogher By., Glencar Ed)

A narrow stone spread, barely wider than a man’s outstretched arms, still marks the foot of a lost shelter on the exposed karst plateau. It sat ten metres from two other hut sites and a hundred metres from a wedge tomb, suggesting a small cluster where people lived, buried their dead, and watched the SE slope darken at dusk. The flat white limestone may have echoed footsteps, dropped rain into hidden cracks, and stripped the wood and rope from memory until only stones remained.
