Hut 8 was a codebreaking station at Bletchley Park during World War II, responsible for decrypting German U-boat communications. It was staffed by mathematicians and cryptanalysts, including Alan Turing, and played a crucial role in the Allied victory by providing intelligence that helped reduce losses at sea.
