This blue commemorative plaque records: Purchased by the Western Hebrew Congregation in 1901, the Hull Hebrew School used 15/17 Linnaeus Street as a girls' school (1902-45) and a boys' Hebrew evening class (1902-94) Recorded plaque organisation: Kingston upon Hull City Council.
The Hull Hebrew School, located at 15/17 Linnaeus Street, served as an educational institution for the Jewish community in Hull from 1902 to 1994, playing a crucial role in preserving and teaching Hebrew language and religious traditions to generations of local Jewish children.
