Terraced two-bay four-storey house, c. 1840, in use as retail outlet to ground floor with office space above; one in a terrace of eleven. Pitched roof behind rebuilt brick parapet. Red brick chimney stack. Red brick facade in Flemish bond, part of top floor rebuilt. Cast iron downpipe and hopper. Soldier arches to window heads of upper floors. Square headed window openings having cills and replacement uPVC windows to second and third floor, replacement single pane timber sliding sash window to first floor. Modern shopfront. Street frontage.

Nineteenth century terraced building which despite modification, retains a sense of its original scale and form. As such it is significant in forming a group with others on the terrace, which is in a prominent city centre location.
