What is recorded here

Section of Medieval city wall, 13th. century, now incorporated as feature within Bishop Lucey park. Uncoursed rubble wall, built up to present ground level, c. 1985.
Highly important site. Following two archaeological excavations in 1974 and 1984-85, a short length of the 13th century city wall was revealed when buildings fronting the Grand Parade were demolished to make way for the entrance to the prospective Bishop Lucey park.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
