What is recorded here
A house is depicted on the Down Survey barony map (1656-8) of Forth barony attached to the castle (WX053-003----) at Tacumshin (17). According to the terrier or commentary of the Down Survey parish map of Tacumshin in NLI (ms 725; microfilm P 7384; N 6380) there is a thatched house at Tacumshin (Hore 1949, 28). If this is not the house attached to the castle then its location is not known.
