What is recorded here
A house is marked on the Down Survey map (1655-58) in NLI (ms 725, microfilm P 7384, N 6380) of Forth barony at Mullgannon, and the terrier, or commentary, records that Patrick Synnott owned 280 acres there in 1640, although most of it was unprofitable. The terrier also describes the walls of a stone house, but the precise location of this house is not known.
