Terraced two-bay two-storey house, dated 1907, on a square plan; two-bay two-storey rear (east) elevation. One of a pair. Pitched fibre-cement slate roof with ridge tiles, grey brick Running bond chimney stack having concrete capping (north) or red brick Running bond chimney stack having stepped capping (south), and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves retaining cast-iron downpipe. Rendered, ruled and lined walls centred on inscribed cut-granite shield date stone ("1907"). Square-headed door opening (south) with cut-granite threshold, and concealed dressings framing timber boarded door having overlight. Square-headed window openings with concrete sills, and concealed dressings framing two-over-two timber sash windows having part exposed sash boxes. Square-headed window openings to rear (east) elevation with concrete sills, and concealed dressings framing two-over-two timber sash windows having part exposed sash boxes. Street fronted with concrete footpath to front.

A house erected as one of a pair of houses (including 15604017) representing an integral component of the early twentieth-century domestic built heritage of Enniscorthy with the architectural value of the composition, one emblazoned with the monogram ("R.B.") of Robert Boyce (1843-1912; cf. 15604020), suggested by such attributes as the compact square plan form; the diminishing in scale of the openings on each floor producing a graduated visual impression; and the high pitched roofline. Having been well maintained, the elementary form and massing survive intact together with substantial quantities of the original fabric, thus upholding the character or integrity of a house forming part of a self-contained ensemble making a pleasing visual statement in Saint John's Street.
