What is recorded here
Terraced three-bay three-storey former house with dormer attic, built c. 1870, now in use as retail outlet. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack and segmental-pedimented windows. Rendered wall with string courses and platbands. Timber sash windows to first and second floors, with replaced uPVC windows to dormers. Shopfront to ground floor, c. 2000.
The scale and form of this former house make a notable and positive addition to the streetscape. The façade is enlivened by the moulded render detail which articulates the form of the building. It retains many interesting features and materials, such as the timber sash windows and slate roof.
