What is recorded here

Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1890, with timber shopfront of vacant shop. Three-bay single-storey flat-roofed former house to south with return to rear. Pitched slate roof with brick chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Ruled-and-lined render to walls with stucco quoins and plinth course. Timber margined sash windows. Replacement timber door with overlight. Timber shopfront with glazed door flanked by display windows. Single-storey outbuildings situated to north of site.
The timber sash windows with margin lights add an attractive dimension to an otherwise modest exterior. Such features are good examples of the late-nineteenth century creativity and craftsmanship.
