Terraced three-bay two-storey house, c.1900, retaining some original fenestration. Extensively renovated and amalgamated with building to north-east, c.1980, with openings remodelled to ground floor to accommodate commercial use. Gable-ended roof. Replacement artificial slate, c.1980. Concrete ridge tiles. Cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves course. Rendered walls. Painted. Square-headed openings (remodelled, c.1980, to ground floor). Stone sills (none to ground floor). Moulded rendered architraves to first floor. 1/1 timber sash windows to first floor. Replacement timber casement window, c.1980, to ground floor in form of recessed shallow bow. Replacement architraves, c.1980, to door openings with pediments over. The Manor Inn, while comprehensively renovated and altered to ground floor in the late twentieth century to accommodate a larger commercial space, retains much of its original form and character to first floor. The house is of some social and historic significance, representing a component of the continued development and expansion of the historic core of Naas in the late nineteenth/early twentieth centuries. Originally built as a symmetrically-planned range, the remodelled openings to ground floor have detracted somewhat from the balanced arrangement, while the elongated bowed window does not contribute positively to the appearance of the piece. The building retains some of its original or early features, including timber sash fenestration to first floor with moulded rendered architraves to the openings. The building is important for continuing the established streetline of Main Street South and for contributing towards the varied roofline of the terrace.
