What is recorded here
Terraced three-bay two-storey house, c.1840, retaining original aspect. Pitched (shared) slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Painted lime rendered walls over random rubble stone construction. Square-headed window openings with stone sills, and 6/6 timber sash windows. Round-headed door opening with timber panelled door, and fanlight. Road fronted with concrete footpath to front.
A picturesque modest-scale house that is distinguished in the street scene on account of the idiosyncratic arrangement of the openings. Reasonably well maintained, the house presents an early aspect with much of the original form and fabric intact, thereby contributing to the visual appeal of Main Street.
