Terraced five-bay two-storey thatched house, c.1760, with projecting entrance porch, c.1920. Associated wit Jack the Bachelor, a notorious eighteenth century smuggler.ROOF: Double pitched thatched with a central rendered chimney stack. WALLS: Rough cast render and rendered coping to gable walls, nap plinth course and surrounding porch. OPENINGS: Square headed; rendered reveals; granite cills; probably original, 2/2 timber sash windows, narrow, small window opening to first floor; projecting porch with square headed opening and timber door, c.1980.
