Detached four-bay single-storey local house, built c.1940, currently vacant. Pitched pantile roof with rendered chimneystacks and gable copings, timber-clad eaves course and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rendered walls with plinth. Square-headed window openings having render sills throughout having rubbed brick voussoirs and block-and-start surrounds. Tripartite windows with six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows flanked by two-over-two timber sliding sash sidelights to front (east) elevation. Six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows to front and rear (west) elevations. Square-headed door opening with rendered step to front elevation, having timber battened door surmounted by overlight. Concrete paved area to south of house.

Modest rural dwellings such as this were built to a standard plan by the local authority in the mid twentieth century. They are simple in design, following the lines of vernacular architecture, but incorporate features such as the tripartite timber sash windows and pantile roof which formalise their appearance. This is a particularly interesting example of this type, as it retains much of its original fabric intact.
